Person Tracking monitors what AI says about you.

Person Tracking is Spyglasses' AI visibility monitoring for individuals: executives, founders, authors, speakers, and consultants. It checks what ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity say about a person every day, scores Identity Accuracy against a neutral public-sources snapshot, and flags same-name confusion and outdated roles.

Person Tracking at a glance
  • Checks every platform with browsing and without, so you know what's memory and what's live.
  • Identity Accuracy is scored against a neutral snapshot built from Wikidata, Wikipedia, and public coverage.
  • Flags same-name confusion and outdated roles the moment they appear in an answer.
  • Tracks the narrative attributes you define, every day, with mention rates per attribute.

The moments that matter

Someone just asked AI about you

A prospect before the call. A journalist before the quote. A board before the offer. They don't read page two of search results anymore; they ask AI and take the first answer.

Identity Accuracy

Is AI's version of you the real one?

Every platform gets asked who you are, with browsing and without. Answers are scored against a neutral snapshot built from public sources, so the score measures them, not your marketing.

Solid = with browsing · faded = model memory only

Same-name confusion

Is AI mixing you up with someone else?

Common name, shared industry, or a namesake with a bigger footprint: AI blends identities more often than you'd think. Spyglasses flags every answer where your record picks up someone else's life.

Outdated information

Old roles stick around

Models remember the job you left years ago. Spyglasses separates what AI knows from memory versus live browsing, so you know which fix helps: new coverage, or time.

“…currently VP of Product at Harborview Software”

Role ended in 2019. Appears only in no-browsing answers.

How it works

Track the story, attribute by attribute

You define the attributes of your story: the positives you want AI to repeat and the negatives you want to fade. Every day, Spyglasses measures how often each one shows up in the answers, so you can watch the narrative move.

Person Tracking FAQ

Common questions about tracking a person's AI visibility.

Does the person need a website?

No. Tracking starts from public sources: Wikidata and Wikipedia when the person has an entry, public coverage otherwise. A personal site helps AI get the story right, but you don't need one to start tracking.

Where does the identity snapshot come from?

From neutral public sources. When the person has a Wikidata or Wikipedia entry, we build the snapshot there. Otherwise we assemble it from public web coverage and flag it as directional. Every AI answer is scored against that baseline, not against your marketing.

What if AI confuses me with someone with the same name?

That's one of the main things we watch for. Every answer that blends your record with someone else's gets flagged, with the platform and whether browsing was on. Fixing it usually means strengthening distinctive public signals, and you can watch the confusion rate fall run by run.

Can a PR firm run this for a client executive?

Yes. A person is a property like any brand, so firms track client executives alongside client brands in the same workspace. Agency plans add white-labeled reports you can put in front of the client.

What does it cost?

Person tracking is included in every plan; a tracked person uses plan prompts like any other property. Plans start at $29 per month.

Is this different from googling yourself?

Search gives you a list of links; AI gives one synthesized answer, and most people never check its sources. Person Tracking measures that answer itself: what it says, whether it's accurate, and how it changes over time across platforms.
